Small beef marrow bones promote dental health and mental engagement. Beef marrow is the spongey tissue found some bones, such as weight bearing thigh and hip bones). Bone marrow is rich in nutrients that benefit brain, heart and skin health, skeletal well being, and support the digestive and immune systems.
Marrow bones are best for experienced chewers, and as a guidance should be fed from 12 months of age. Feed as an occasional treat and monitor the chewing time of marrow bones. If new to raw bones, feed boneless chunks and raw chews (beef trachea and meaty chunks), beginner and intermediate bones (such as poultry wings, feet and neck), prior to feeding marrow bones.
