Green tripe is a very nutritious food for dogs of all ages. Raw green tripe offers beneficial bacteria and enzymes. It has a desirable calcium:phosphorus ratio of 1:1. It also has the correct proportions of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids.

Green tripe pH is acidic, the protein is 16.2%, and the fat is 12.1%.

TLI state: “The fat content shown in Analytical Constituents, is an example of the particular batch that was analysed, but all tripe will vary in fat content depending on where in the country they have come from, the type of grass they have been fed and the time of year. Sometimes it is whiter and fattier than other times, so please bear this in mind”.
